Liberty Online University – Accelerated Degrees

With Liberty Online University, many of the courses are offered in an 8 week format.  For this reason, you can theoretically take double the amount of credits each year without disrupting your life. As an example, if you know you can only handle 2 classes at a time, if you were to attend a university that offers only traditional 16 week terms, you would only earn 6 credits during every semester, or about 12 credits per year.

With Liberty’s 8 week terms, if you take 2 classes every 8 weeks, that will allow you to earn 12 credits in the Fall and 12 credits in the Spring: 24 credits! If you add another 6 credits during the summer, you have earned 30 semesters credits in one year (a full-time course load)… but while only taking 2 classes at a time. SWEET!
