Accelerated College Degree
By earning an accelerated college degree online, students are spending less than 4 years taking courses for their bachelor’s degree. Any online school that offers 3 week, 4 week, 5 week, 6 week, 7 week, 8 week, 10 week, or 12 week terms or semesters for their degree program is considered to have an “accelerated college degree program”. Therefore, earning a degree is going to be significantly faster than attending a regular college for normal semesters.
Accelerated Online Degree Programs can range from Associates, Bachelors and Masters Degrees for a variety of majors and concentrations. The courses in an accelerated degree program range in duration, but still provide students with a speedier way of earning that degree. The great thing, not only with accelerated degree programs, but with online courses in general is that it operates as a virtual classroom. There are discussion forums, and the instructor monitoring the class is available via e-mail. All class materials are available for saving and viewing as well, so students can read the material at a time when it is convenient for them.
