Quick Online Degrees
About Quick Online Degrees and Programs
Although distance learning can be a great help in obtaining a degree for job advancement, do you really want to go through a full 4 years (or watching videos at 3:00 AM) before advancing your career or earning your degree?
Nope? I didn’t either.
That’s why I started researching quick online degrees. I knew that I wanted a Regionally Accredited University that would be respected by employers. And, I also knew I wanted to attend a university that also had traditional, campus-based programs so that no one would ever know that I took my classes online. Being able to “walk” at commencement ceremonies was just icing on the cake!
Here are a few of the colleges I found that meet this criteria:

Boston University – Bachelor, Master, Doctorate Degrees Online. With more than 30,000 students from all 50 states and 135 countries, Boston University is the 4th largest independent university in the United States. Available online degrees in fields such as business, project management, finance, international marketing, and liberal studies. |

Liberty University – Liberty University is one of the only Regionally Accredited Christian Universities in the nation offering accelerated classes online. Currently, they offer Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate Degrees in both faith-based and non-faith-based subject areas. Fields include Christian Counseling, Education, Theology, Business, Management, Accounting, and more. See the complete list of available degrees now: |

Accelerated College Degree Programs vs. Diploma Mills
As we all know, there are dozens of colleges offering degrees based on life experience that can be completed in just two weeks. All they require is a credit card number. Sound fishy? Yeah, I thought so, too.
After doing some research into the matter, I found that there were a number of non-accredited, so-called universities offering quick online degrees based solely on life experience. Sure, you get a piece of paper in the mail that says you hold a Bachelor’s degree, but what good is a piece of paper… when it’s simply a novelty diploma?
If you are interested in earning a real degree, then it pays (literally) to consider only those schools offering quick online degrees that are regionally accredited (the highest level of accreditation available in the United States… Harvard and Yale are regionally accredited).
The following universities offer accelerated college degree programs, but they are not diploma mills. They are respected, regionally accredited universities with traditional, campus-based programs… they just happen to offer online classes and degrees as a convenience to their students. This is not a shortcut to earning a respected degree, but attaining a degree online is a more convenient, accessible, and flexible means of earning a degree for most students.
Accredited Colleges offering Accelerated College Degree Programs:
There’s no doubt that it may be necessary to ensure you have a degree to get a job these days. But, as they say, “Life comes at you fast”, and the time required for a degree may not be available to you. Or perhaps the college that offers the program you’re looking for is not a convenient distance from your location? What to do, what to do?
Fortunately, many colleges are now offering quick online degrees via distance learning. My first encounter with distance learning was through my local community college where I was required to watch a series of shows on PBS at 2:30-3:00 in the morning. Thankfully, distance learning has come a LONG way since then.
If you have any questions, just post a comment and I’ll trying to offer some assistance. Keep in mind, however, I’m not an expert. Just a student like you! If want to check out a few more programs, check out my other article: Accelerated Degree Programs
