How do Quick Online Degrees Work?

While a typical online degree program will allow you to work and study at your own pace, the accelerated program will considerably quicken the pace. This is because the workload will be more demanding and will need you to follow a thorough schedule. Additionally, rather than take several classes simultaneously, you will cover two or more courses concurrently at an accelerated pace.

Types of online accelerated degrees

  • Accelerated Dual Degree Programs – these quick online degrees are mostly bachelor’s/master’s degree programs and sometimes Master’s/PhD. To qualify, a learner has to meet a very rigorous set of standards and requirements since acceptance to this program is quite competitive. Accelerated dual degree programs will combine or replace coursework to cover the requirements of both degree programs. Dual Bachelor’s/Master’s degree – allows you to complete a bachelor and master’s degree in five years rather than 6 or more.
  • Accelerated Single Degree Programs

These quick online degrees are tailored for working professionals who wish to advance their career and education and will basically allow you to get a single degree in a short time. This is to say:-

  • Associate’s degree normally takes two years but the accelerated path will take 12-20 months.
  • Bachelor’s degree normally takes four years but the accelerated path takes between 2-3 years
  • Master’s degree or MBA – the accelerated path takes 12-18 months to complete
  • Doctoral degree – Quick online degrees in Doctoral will take an average of 3 years instead of 5-6 years.
